Caption Care is closely linked to the Cardiac guidance AI tool supported by the Vscan Air app. Starting a Vscan Air exam from Caption Care will automatically initiate Vscan Air Cardiac guidance utilizing the Vscan Air SL probe.
Preconditions
1. The Samsung S8 tablet is compatible for Caption Care.
2. Vscan Air app shall be installed on the Display Device.
3. Vscan Air app and Vscan Air SL Probe shall be registered and activated.
4. Cardiac Guidance Subscription shall be available.
5. Display device shall be connected to internet.
6. User shall have a valid user account on the Caption Care portal.
7. Caption Care portal shall contain the Orders/Appointments filled with all the required Patient details (Exam data) for the exam to be conducted.
8. Vscan Air app and Caption Care portal shall run on the same display device.
9. Configure the DICOMweb server using the Caption Care DICOMweb URL and make the server your favorite server.
NOTE Close any Vscan Air app on the display device before initiating an exam using Caption Care.
Perform a Caption Care Initiated Exam
- On the Caption Care portal, select Order and click on Confirm and Begin Exam.
- Patient needs to accept and acknowledge the Privacy Policy by signing before starting the exam.
- Click on Begin Exam and select Vscan Air™ option and then click on the “Launch Vscan Air™” to start the Vscan Air app.
- Once the Vscan Air SL probe is connected it will automatically select the Cardiac Guidance tool.
- Follow the Cardiac Guidance protocol when performing the exam.
- To end the current exam when it is complete select End exam and close the Vscan Air app.
- Exam data will automatically be sent to the DICOMweb server which is set as favorite.
- Go to the Caption Care portal used to initiate the exam and click Complete Exam.
