The lifetime of battery is specified with “at least 500 charges”. What happens after 500 charges?

- Rechargeable Lithium-Ion batteries have a limited life and will gradually lose their capacity to hold a charge. This loss of capacity (aging) is irreversible. As the battery loses capacity, the length of time it will power the product (run time) decreases.
- The user must expect that when the battery capacity falls below 80% of original capacity. Accordingly, total scan time will be reduced.
- As the battery capacity falls, users should consider replacing it.
